Hello, my name is Joshua Ruiz. I was born on May 8, 1989 in Puerto Rico. My family and I moved to Connecticut when I was two years old, and when I was eleven years old we moved to Florida. While we lived in Florida I met my best friend Mike. During high school I played for the football team. I made the varsity team during my freshman year. On the last game of the season I ended up getting hit at my legs in which my knee cap was broken. Shortly after my knee injury my family and I moved back to Connecticut where I finished school with an "A"average and at the top of my class. My interest for entertainment sparked early in my childhood, because I grew up watching the Disney Channel and really never stopped. One thing I noticed is how much actors can help people, there is no greater pleasure than knowing that you changed someone's life who is less fortunate than you are.

I have won awards for my ability to draw and paint. I have also won a team football award for outstanding teamate and defensive player. I am also hoping to be a valedictorian for my class.

I like listening to music, playing video games, and hanging out with my family and friends. I also love to act and play sports. My favorite sport is football because it is so exciting.

My entertainment goals are to be successful at whatever I try to do and have fun doing it. I would also love to do regular television work such as sitcoms or short films.
